Joel ZideMr. Zide, has more than 17 years of real estate experience and has managed portfolios in excess of 18,000 units of multi-family properties in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. Mr. Zide maximizes the profitability of property assets and NOI through revenue enhancements and expense controls. Mr. Zide also has extensive experience in the field of repositioning multi-family assets with the oversight of construction projects ranging from $500,000 to more than $10,000,000 in renovations. He has worked for numerous institutional clients throughout the country with real estate values in excess of more than $1 billion and has focused his management skills on operating apartment communities consisting of 100 units or more. Through his collective experience, Mr. Zide believes property management is a people business and that mutual respect is the key to maximizing the performance of human resources at both the corporate and site levels. This mindset has allowed him to effectively motivate staff while increasing results at his properties. Mr. Zide is fluent in Spanish and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. |

Craig C. SeniaMr. Senia has been involved in the real estate management and finance business for more than 12 years. Mr. Senia oversees the accounting and business operations of Mashcole Property Management, Inc., which currently manages approximately 100 properties (3,000 units). Over the past decade, Mr. Senia has spent much of his time acquiring, repositioning, and managing multi-family properties in both the California and Arizona markets. Mr. Senia also served as Vice-President/General Manager for Cox Business Services. During this time, Mr. Senia held P&L responsibility for an $86-million annual operating budget, overseeing approximately 85 employees in the Western United States. Mr. Senia serves as the broker of record for Mashcole Property Management, Inc. He holds a Real Estate Broke’s license in the states of California and Texas. Mr. Senia earned his MBA degree from Pepperdine University and holds a BA in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara. |

Carl MarerMr. Marer has more than 21 years of experience in the property management business. Mr. Marer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Mashcole Property Management, Inc. He oversees all regional supervisors and managers. Mr. Marer started his career working for a boutique management company where within one year he was promoted to vice president of property management and oversaw more than 3,000 units from Los Angeles to San Diego. During the 1990s Mr. Marer took his experience to the next level and worked on receivership/REO multi-family properties for a firm located in the San Fernando Valley, and it was during this period of time where he learned to effectively manage “challenging” assets. He now has created a niche and has succeeded in managing and operating properties in various drug- and gang-related areas. Mr. Marer has a great working relationship with city inspectors, providing an advantage to clients should any potential issues arise. Mr. Marer was appointed as a State Court Receiver, acting on behalf of several banking institutions in the oversight of their REO portfolio. In 1994, Mr. Marer acted as an owner/partner in a local management company that focused on managing multi-unit residential properties. Mr. Marer is licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson with the State of California. |
